Notice of 2026 Annual General Meeting
Meeting Date: Wednesday 18 February 2026, 7:30pm
Location: Riverside Netball Pavilion - 75 Newsom St, Ascot Vale
All members of the Association are entitled to attend, or (in the case of a Member Club) to nominate a representative to attend, the Annual General Meeting.
Any other person may be admitted to the meeting if the Chair so decides.
BUSINESS OF MEETING
The Annual General Meeting will be conducted in accordance with the Essendon District Netball Association Constitution. The meeting business will:

Confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting (held 19 February 2024)

Receive from the Committee reports upon the transactions of the Association during the 2025 Financial Year;

Elect the Office-bearers of the Association;

Confirm the appointment of the Ordinary Members of the Committee;

Conduct any Special Business.
NOMINATION OF OFFICE-BEARER POSITIONS
Section 26 of EDNA Constitution
Any Association member, Club Representative, Registered Member over the age of 18 or parent/guardian of a Registered Member under the age of 18 may nominate for any of the Office-bearer positions and may nominate for more than one position.
There are four office-bearer positions:

Vice-President

Secretary
-
Treasurer

Nominations for Office Bearer Positions can be made via this form.

Nominations must be received no later than Wednesday 4 February 2026.

A list of the candidates' names, with the names of the members who nominated each candidate, will be posted on the Association website for at least seven days immediately preceding the Annual General Meeting.
PROXY VOTES
Section 21 of EDNA Constitution
Should a Member Club Representative wish to nominate a Proxy to vote on their behalf, please email secretary@essendondna.com.au at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, advising who the Proxy representative will be.
SPECIAL BUSINESS
Per section 6.3 (b) of the Constitution, Maribyrnong Park Netball Club have applied to become a Member Club of the Essendon District Netball Association.
