Why do you train on Sunday's?

Essendon Thunder is extra netball to your club that you play with on Saturday's at EDNA. As each club trains on a different night during the week, Sunday is the best option to enable all players the opportunity to participate.

Our whole club trains on Sunday evening, including our Open players, which allows our coaches to work together cohesively to provide the best program we can.

Why don't the Thunderbolts play weekly matches?

At this age we know kids are doing a lot of extracurricular activities, and we support them finding their way in varied activities, be it sport, music, dance, etc.

This is purely an extra skills enhancement session to improve current skills and prepare for trialling for Representative Netball in future.
